Dr. Benjamin Zike and his family moved to North Carolina in June of 2025. Dr. Zike graduated from Brigham Young University in 2013 with a degree in public health, and then from Dalhousie Dental School in 2017. He owned a dental office in Tillamook, Oregon before relocating to North Carolina. Dr. Zike is married to Jessica and has four kids Arthur, Peter, Henry and Delilah. Jessica is a registered dental hygienist and occasionally works at the office. The Zike family enjoys sports and spending time outdoors. They look forward to exploring North Carolina and the east coast over the coming years. 

Melissa (Missy) Eastwood and her husband have lived in Burke County for most of their lives. Missy graduated from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College in 1987 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene and later completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from East Tennessee State University in 2016.

She has practiced as a dental hygienist for 39 years across various areas of North Carolina. She joined this practice 25 years ago and has enjoyed her time here very much.

Missy has been married to her husband, Bert, for 39 years. They have two sons, Mason (wife Kaylin) and Eric (wife Mckenzie), and two grandchildren, Abby and Garrett Eastwood. In her free time, Missy enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, her grandchildren, and her Shih Tzu, Bentley.

Hallie grew up in Lenoir, NC and moved to Sawmills in September of 2025 after getting married. She met her husband, Alex, at UNC Charlotte in 2020, where she started her college years. She transferred to East Tennessee State University, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.

Hallie loves being with family and friends, painting, snowboarding, Taylor Swift, and good coffee.

Jackie Huffman has lived in the Drexel Community all her life. She graduated from East Burke High School and Western Piedmont Community College Dental Assisting Program. She has worked in the Valdese Family Dental office for 35+ years. She loves taking care of her patients and making them feel at ease during their dental procedures. She has been married to her husband, Todd Huffman, for 35 years. They have 2 grown children and 4 amazing grandchildren, Ellie, Dash, Lainey, and Maggie. She attends Drexel Memorial Baptist Church and teaches the children and youth. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and making memories with her grandchildren.
